Riso printing a MF Doom mash-up
by Norman Gavin
Like most other folks in pinball, we love Creature From The Black Lagoon, so it's never far from our collective consciousness when we're making graphics.
We also love revered rapper MF DOOM too (our video of the original DOOM VPin blew up our instagram!) so we just had to make this "MF LAGOON" graphical mash-up.
Then, thanks to a kind follower on Instagram who wanted to see this as a print, we fired up the risograph and set to work. We went from the three-colour neon look in the graphic to a two-colour 'PLYFLD' colour combo of dark blue and fluro orange. A cheeky bit of halftoning in photoshop gave us a bit of colour variation, so the DOOM mask and LAGOON letters have a bit of a lighter fill on them:
We're really stoked with how these came out in the end.
